The Hong Kong Brewers Cup 2025 has come to a successful conclusion.
A total of 56 contestants participated in this year's competition, with each dedicating a significant amount of time to preparation and meticulously selecting their coffee beans. Some contestants even used coffee grown in Hong Kong, processed using a salted vegetable fermentation method, which was truly impressive. Beyond the beans themselves, the brewing equipment and techniques employed by the competitors were equally sophisticated. Contestants underwent countless brewing tests to ensure their chosen beans were extracted to their optimal flavor profile, with some even using coffee grounds of 6 different grind sizes combined for brewing. This goes to show that behind every cup of coffee lies the professionalism and craftsmanship of the barista. ☕️
